This store was born out of a love for belly dance and a desire to create products that bring your inner dancer to everyday life.
I have started my belly dance journey over 15 years ago, and I’m often asked why belly dance. Ukrainian by nationality, living in Canada… for some people, it is strange that I would practice belly dance, let alone choose this art as my profession. But the answer is extremely simple: because I love it. We don’t choose our beloved ones. Our heart does. We only decide if we follow it or not. I chose to follow.
I can’t tell you exactly why I love belly dance and everything inspired by the Middle East, but there is so much space for creativity in the dance world that it becomes a way of living.
As I deepened my knowledge and travelled the world exploring the art of belly dancing, I realized I was bringing elements of this dance into my day-to-day life.
I feel absolutely blessed that I can be my own crazy genie both on stage and in everyday life, so I decided to share that blessing with my fellow dancers.
That is why I created this store, offering a range of products, including apparel, decor, jewlery, and beauty, designed by a belly dancer for belly dance lovers, with one idea in mind:
